BB to banks: Ensure adequate money supply to ATM booths

Bangladesh Bank (BB) on Wednesday directed the banks to ensure adequate supply of money to ATM booths during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha and Durga Puja holidays for smooth transaction by people. A central bank circular said banking operations will remain closed from October 5 to October 7 on the occasion of Durga Puja and Eid-ul-Azha. “So, banks are advised to ensure adequate money supply with adequate security at ATM booths,” the circular said, according to a news agency.
