BB to get access to 9 NID data from EC server

The Election Commission (EC) on Thursday decided to give the Bangladesh Bank (BB) access to National Identity Card’s (NID) nine information instead of the existing six, a commissioner said. The EC will amend its agreement signed with the central bank in this regard, he said. On request of the central bank, the commission agreed to give the central bank access to three more information: a voter’s permanent and present addresses, profession and name of husband if it is applicable, said Election Commissioner Shah Nawaz, according to a news agency.
