BB to revise CSR policy

Bangladesh Bank has taken a move to revise the CSR policy so that the society gets better financial yields. “We will very soon declare the revised CSR policy to make it more dynamic and time-worthy,” BB Governor Dr Atiur Rahman said today (Thursday) while addressing a function, arranged by NCC Bank Ltd in the city. NCC Bank handed over scholarship money to a total of 275 poor but meritorious students under its CSR activities on the day. The students achieved GPA 5 in SSC and HSC levels. The BB Governor expressed his happiness on the performance of banks including the NCC Bank in running the CSR activities properly. He said the CSR activities of banks witnessed about ten time growth during the last five years.
