B\\\'baria cotton factory fire doused

A devastating fire that broke out in a cotton factory in Sarail Upazila in Brahmanbaria district on Monday morning has been doused. Fire service sources said the fire broke out at Hasan Cotton Mil in Dewan Mokararam Ali market in Kalibari area around 8:00am and spread soon. Being informed, two firefighting units rushed to spot and extinguished the flame after about 2 hours of hectic efforts. Owner of the factory claimed that the losses caused by the fire will be around Tk 20 million. The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately, according to a news agency.
