B'baria Livestock Dept earns over Tk 0.76m in 2006-07 fiscal

BRAHMANBARIA, Sept 18: Livestock Department in Brahmanbaria district has earned revenue of over Tk 0.76 million in the 2006-07 financial year, which is Tk 96,674 higher than that of the 2005-06 financial year.
Livestock Department sources said, it earned Tk 2,95,167 by selling vaccines, and Tk 4,68,548 as artificial reproduction fees.
Of the total amount, Tk 2,06,852 was collected from Sadar upazila, Tk 1,54,234 from Sarail, Tk 1,29,474 from Nabinagar, Tk 68,462 from Bancharampur, Tk 64,958 from Kasba, Tk 55,474 from Nasirnagar, Tk 52,410 from Akhaura and Tk 31,852 from Ashuganj upazila.
