BBC Bangla service to be available on FM radio in 6 divisions

The Bangla service of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) will be made available soon on FM radio in six more divisions and towns of Bangladesh in addition to the capital, reports UNB.
The announcement of the expansion was made Wednesday at a press conference by Neil Curry, head of business development, BBC Asia and Pacific Region at Sonargaon Hotel. Head of BBC Bangla Service Sabir Mostafa was present at the press conference. In this connection, an agreement was signed between BBC and Bangladesh Betar at the Information Ministry Wednesday. Bangladesh Betar DG M Mahbubul Alam and head of business development of BBC Asia and Pacific Region Neil Curry signed the three-year agreement.
