BBCC delegation due in city Nov 9

A 30-member delegation of Bangladesh British Chamber of Commerce (BBCC), UK, led by its chairman Shahgir Bakht Faruk, will arrive in the city on November 9 on a nine-day visit to Bangladesh.
The delegation comprises BBCC senior vice-chairman and founder chairman of Saad Gazi Foundation ATMW Saad Gazi, BBCC northeast region president and chairman of Seamark International Iqbal Ahmed, BBCC Secretary General Absar M Waess, former chairman Moquim Ahmed, directors Monsob Ali, Jamal Uddin Mokoddus, Kabir Reza, Muhib Uddin Choudhury, MA Rouf, Abdul Muhaimin Mia and Enamul Haque Chowdhury, Sylhet Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) President Junnan Mahmood Khan, former president Ahmed Faruk Misbah and director Hiskul Guljar.
Britain's famous tour operator Rodger David Charles is also among the delegation members.
Members of the delegation will attend a views exchange meeting on the proposed 'Special Economic Zone at Sylhet' at a hotel in Dhaka at 11:30 am on November 11.
Adviser for Education and Commerce Hossain Zillur Rahman, Adviser for Women and Cultural Affairs Rasheda K Chowdhury, Board of Investment (BOI) Chairman Kamal Uddin Ahmed, BTRC Chairman Maj Gen (retd) Manjurul Alam, NBR Chairman Md Abdul Mazid, FBCCI President Annisul Haq and DCCI President Hossain Khaled will attend the meeting.
