BCB chief wants \\\'specialist\\\' T20 cricketers

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hassan believes that specialist cricketers are required for success in Twenty20 cricket before suggesting that Bangladesh are yet to get the hang of the format. “We lag behind in Tests but in one-day we are a force to reckon with. T20 is scaring me. We haven’t yet been able to get on top of many facets of the game,” Nazmul Hassan said at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur in the city. The BCB president feels that the Bangladesh are yet to be able to read the situation well and bat and bowl accordingly in the T20. “We have to think differently for the T20s. If necessary, a different coach has to be brought in for T20s. And we have the same set of players for all forms of cricket. If we cannot distinguish, we’ll not have success,” he added. He still cannot accept the Tigers’ meek surrender to ICC associates Afghanistan and Hong Kong and defending champions West Indies. “We are not getting good starts. Moreover, the middle-order and lower middle-order are completely out of form. Everybody goes through bad times, but I never thought so many will at the same time, never seen it either,” according to bdnews24.com.
