The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has extended the tenure of chief selector Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu by one month, reports BSS.
In view of his intention to step down at the end of his tenure as Chairman of the National Selection Panel, the board has decided to grant him a one-month extension.
During this period, the board will work on finding his successor and reorganising the panel, the BCB said in a press release issued after a Board of Directors meeting on Sunday.
The board will also publish advertisements in newspapers for the vacant selector's post.
