BCB-XI win will inspire the Tigers
Friday, 17 April 2015
In the practice match Bangladesh Cricket Board eleven has won against Pakistan and this win will surely boost up the confidence of Mashrafee and Co in the upcoming one-day and Test match series. Bangladesh has already sent a signal to the visiting team that the upcoming matches will not be a cakewalk for the visitors. So far the Tigers' records against Pakistan have not been encouraging as they have won only one one-day international against Pakistan in the 1999 World Cup and after that they have not won a single match to the utter frustration of Bangladeshi cricket fans. Sabbir Ahmed scored a brilliant 123 from 99 balls that brought BCB XI back to the game when it was slipping away from its grip.
The defeat has definitely given a jolt to the visiting team and now they will try to come back hard on the hosts. Although it was a mere practice match for both teams, the outcome will greatly boost the morale of the Bangladeshi national team. The victory which was a close one has made the cricket lovers happy. I hope the cricket fans will throng in the stadium in great numbers and cheer up their team and inspire them to perform their best.
