BCBL inks deal with ICICI Bank

Bangladesh Commerce Bank Limited (BCBL) has signed an agreement with ICICI Bank Ltd, at a ceremony held at the BCBL's head office in the city recently, said a press release.
SA Chowdhury, managing director (MD), Muhammad Asaduzzaman, deputy managing director, Md Shafiqul Islam, vice president & head of Treasury, BCBL & Syed Aminul Kabir, chief representative, Shah Alam Khan, senior relationship manager, ICICI Bank Ltd, Bangladesh & other senior officials of both the banks were present at the agreement signing ceremony.
This agreement will allow the banking sector to enjoy competitive advantage, especially bridging the time gap between Fareast Asia and Bangladesh, and to process cross-border payments, so that smooth flow of remittance could take place.
