CHITTAGONG, Nov 5 (UNB): Bangladesh Chemists and Druggists Association (BCDA) enforced a day-long strike Thursday in the port city protesting what they said continued harassment by RAB.
About 1200 pharmacies in the port city kept their shutters down responding to the strike call.
Earlier Wednesday night, a team of RAB-7 conducted a raid at 'Popular Medicine House' in the city's Hajari Lane area and seized 16 cartons of drugs.
The owner of the enterprise Tapan Kanti Biswas alleged that the RAB members assaulted him, his two sons and an employee.
