Tuesday, 27 November 2007

Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) has allocated 2,59,866 tonnes of urea fertiliser for distribution among the farmers during December next. The BCIC authorities have requested all the district fertiliser and seed-monitoring committees to monitor quick withdrawal, transportation and distribution of the fertiliser among the farmers as per their demand, said a BCIC press release Monday. A BCIC official said it has now sufficient urea in stock to face any crisis. — UNB
