BCIC allocates 214,014 tonnes of urea for farmers

Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) has allocated 214,014 tonnes of urea fertiliser for distribution among the farmers in September. According to a press release, issued by BCIC general manager Abdur Rashid, allocation of the urea fertiliser has been made as per requirement of the Ministry of Agriculture. It said the fertiliser and seed monitoring committees at the district level have already been requested for taking necessary steps to help the dealers lift fertiliser from September 01 to start distribution among farmers at the earliest. —FE Report
