BCIC fertiliser dealer arrested in Natore

NATORE, Jun 23 (BSS): Police arrested a fertiliser dealer of BCIC from Lalpur Upazila in the district for cheating in weighing Friday.
The arrestee was identified as Mojibur Rahman Moznu, owner of Mollah Variety Shop at Gopalpur Rail Bazar at the upazila.
Following a complaint of farmers, a mobile court led by UNO of Lalpur Sheikh Mojibur Rahman raided the shop of the detained.
The mobile court found less amount of urea fertiliser in 22 bags after examining 219 bags of fertilisers.
The court seized fertilisers from the shop and picked up its owner Moznu.
A case was filed with Lalpur police in this connection under the Special Power Act.
