BCL activist files case against Shibir men in RU

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, June 12 (BSS) : An activist of Bangladesh Chattra League (BCL) of Rajshahi University (RU) unit has filed a case against 26 activists of RU unit Islami Chattra Shibir (ICS) with Motihar Thana for stabbing him.
Police arrested shibir leader Sirajus Salekin in connection with the case Thursday night.
Police said, BCL worker Mehedi Hasan filed the case Thursday evening alleging that a group of ICS cadres led by Sirajus Salekin and his loyals reportedly equipped with arms and stabbed him indiscriminately at the nearby Oktroy crossing Wednesday night.
Police raided a number of student messes and other possible hideouts throughout the night to arrest the accused.
