BCL activist injured in Ctg rivals' clash

CHATTOGRAM, Oct 13: An activist of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) was severely injured when two rival groups of BCL of Govt Haji Muhammed Mohsin College locked in clash on the campus this (Wednesday) morning.
The victim is identified as Abi Chinan (21), a student of HSC second year of the college.
Sources said the rival groups of two joint convenors of BCL of Govt. Haji Muhammed Mohsin College named Borhan and Anwar Polash locked in clash on the campus around 11.30 am today (Wednesday). Abi Chinan was injured severely in the clash. He was admitted to the Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH). He is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chalkbazar thana Ferdous Jahan said, "One student of Govt Haji Muhammed Mohsin College was injured in a clash between two groups of the students. Police rushed to the spot and controlled the situation. No case was filed and nobody was arrested in this connection.
