BCL activist stabs JCD leader

CHUADANGA, May 27 (UNB): A Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activist attacked and stabbed a Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leader in Damurhuda town old market leaving him critically injured Tuesday noon.
The injured was identified as Sajal (34), son of Ashraf Ali of village Dashamipara in Damurhuda Upazila.
Witnesses said BCL cadre Pakhi following a previous enmity stabbed Sajal indiscriminately while he was gossiping at a tea stall of the market.
Later, local people rushed Sajal to the Sadar Hospital where his condition was stated to be critical.
