BCL celebrates 62nd founding anniversary

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) has celebrated its 62nd founding anniversary with a pledge to work together to build 'Sonar Bangla' as dreamt by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The incumbent and former BCL leaders and activists from different campuses joined the anniversary programme organised on the Dhaka University (DU) campus Monday.
Marking the day, the ruling-party student organisation held a rally on the footstep of Aparajeyo Bangla sculpture and brought out a colourful procession on the campus at noon.
BCL President Mahmud Hasan Ripon presided over the rally while General Secretary Mahmudul Haider Chowdhury Roton moderated it.
Addressing the rally, Awami League presidium member Obaidul Kader called upon the meritorious students to congregate under the banner of BCL to create efficient leadership at national level.
He also urged the BCL leaders and activists to work together to materialise 'Vision 2021' and build 'Sonar Bangla' as dreamt by the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The incumbent BCL leaders reiterated their pledges at the rally to implement the Vision 2021 and fulfil the dream of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman to build a 'Sonar Bangla'.
