BCL faction damages 13 vehicles on CU campus

CHITTAGONG, Feb 20: A group of students belonging to the pro-government student front Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) at Chittagong University carried out vandalism on the street after the police dispersed them during an agitation programme on the campus today.
The rampaging BCL activists damaged 13 vehicles, including a one of private television channel Samay TV in the afternoon.
Officer- in -Charge of the Police Check Post on the university campus Mohsin Meah said some activists of a BCL faction ransacked vehicles in front of the university transport office when Proctor Ali Asgar Chowdhury was speaking with the media there.
Before the attack, the students who were observing a siege programme locked up the main gate of the university.
