CHITTAGONG, Apr 22 (UNB): Four students were injured in a clash between two groups of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) at Chittagong Medical College (CMC) early Wednesday.
Campus sources said 3rd year students jeered at 4th year students after the junior batch defeated their senior batch in a cricket match on the campus ground Tuesday.
At one stage, they locked into a clash at the main hostel that left four of them injured at about 2:30 am.
On information, police rushed in and brought the situation under control by charging batons on the feuding groups.
Police have been deployed on the campus to ward off further trouble.
