Imran H Sarker told bdnews24.com: “Chhatra League and Juba League supporters attacked our activists. They also set the clothes of one of our activists, ‘Tanvir’, on fire.” The Mancha activists were again roughed up in front of the OC of the Shahbagh Police Station when they went there to lodge a complaint,” Sarkar said. Two Mancha activists - Aranya Shakil and ‘Joy’ were critically injured, Sarker said. Shakil has suffered a head injury, while Joy had one of his hands broken. Sarker alleged that Chhatra League central leader Sheikh Asman and Juba League leader Nasim Rupak had led the attacks, according to a news agency.
