BCL leader held for vandalising magistrate's car

BRAHMANBARIA, Nov 22 (UNB): The police arrested a local Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leader for damaging a magistrate's car from Nabinagar Upazila bus stand area Sunday evening.
The arrested person was identified as Momin Mia, convener of a faction of Nabinagar poura BCL unit.
The law enforcers said Momin in drunken condition damaged the car of Judicial Magistrate Morshed-al-Mamun in the area, while he was returning to the district town.
They alleged that Momin also vandalized some auto-rickshaws in the bus stand area.
The magistrate lodged a complaint with the Nabinagar police in this connection.
Later, the police raided the bus stand area and arrested Momin.
