BCL leader held with Yaba

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel in a drive arrested a local leader of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) in possession of 163 pieces of Yaba tablet at Charabhita Bazar in Bagharpara upazila of Jessore district on Saturday night. The arrestee was identified as M A Awal, son of Ayub Ali, a resident of the area and a joint convener of the upazila unit of BCL. Kawser Hossain, squadron leader of Rab-6 of Jessore, said on secret information, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and arrested Awal along with 163 pieces of Yaba tablet, according to a news agency.
