BCL leader shot dead at Feni

FENI, June 2(BSS): A local Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) leader was shot dead by miscreants at Atiqul Alam Road in the town here today. The victim was identified as Abu Sayeed, 26.
Police and hospital sources said, Abu Sayeed, son of Afzal Rahman, was called by a gang of unidentified miscreants in his mobile phone and took him to a place near to Baitul Aman Mosque.
The miscreants first chopped and later shot Sayeed leaving the body near the mosque.
Family members of Sayeed came to know about the incident in the afternoon and immediately informed the matter to the police.
Police recovered the body of Sayeed and sent it to Feni Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
A case was filed with Feni Sadar thana but none was arrested till filing of this report at 6-30 pm.
