BCL leader Siam on remand in murder attempt case

A Dhaka court has placed the organising secretary of the banned student organisation Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Siam Rahman on one-day remand in a case lodged over attempt to murder of Chhatra Dal leader Ariful Islam, reports BSS.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarah Farzana Haque passed the order on Monday as police
produced Siam before the court and pleaded to place him on a seven-day
remand.
