An advisor to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has reportedly told the activists of the ruling party’s student wing that people who are holding important positions in the government will help them pass viva tests if they do well in written examinations. ‘Try to do better in the written tests, We would be beside you in viva voice,’ political adviser to the prime minister HT Imam, was quoted by newspapers and news agencies as telling the leaders and workers of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) while addressing a programme in the city on Wednesday afternoon. Held at the Teachers Students Centre (TSC) auditorium on Dhaka University campus, the programme was attended by a good number of DU teachers and students, including members of the university unit of BCL. Addressing the programme, HT Imamm assured the BCL students in the audience that if need be he would take classes for them (BCL members). ‘If needed, I will take classes for you. You need to pass written test,’ he was quoted as saying by the media, according to a news agency.
