BCL men block city road for hour

Student front of the ruling Awami League (AL) laid siege to a vital street in the city for nearly an hour, demanding the removal of a policeman for pulling up a former college leader for riding a motorcycle without appropriate papers, reports bdnews24.com.
The agitation in front of Titumir College in Mohakhali on Wednesday also saw Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) activists vandalising a private car.
The situation came to normal only after the police authorities promised to withdraw SI Abdul Mannan, who was on duty in Baridhara.
