BCL submits 12-pt memo to RU VC

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, July 17 (BSS): Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Rajshahi University (RU) unit Saturday submitted a 12-point memorandum to RU Vice-chancellor Prof M Abdus Sobhan at his office.
The demands included internet facilities for students, introduction of digital ID card for teachers and students, setting up of ATM booth on the campus, update of RUCSU website, create database on the history of liberation war, immediate holding of RUCSU election, banning Jamaat-Shibir politics on the campus, quota for athletes and artists, introduction of compulsory Bangali and English course in each department, more subsidy at dining and canteens.
BCL RU unit president Awal Kabir Joy and general secretary Mazedul Islam Apu with other leaders and activists of the party were present on the occasion.
