BCPA gets new office-bearers

Mr M Anis Ud Dowla of ACI Formulations Limited and Mr MA Khair of Blessing Agrovet Industries Limited have been elected chairman and secretary general respectively of Bangladesh Crop Protection Association (BCPA). They were elected at the 31st annual general meeting of the BCPA held in the city recently, said a press release. The other office-bearers are: Vice Chairman Momin Ud Dowlah of Eon Agro Industries Limited, Joint Secretary General Md Tofiqul Islam of Crop Protection & Care Centre, Organising Secretary Kbd Md Moazzem Hossain of United Phosphorus (Bangladesh) Limited, Publicity Secretary Kbd Md Rofiqul Islam of Total Agro Science and Treasurer Quazi Nazmul Abedin of Quazi Enterprises Limited. The executive committee members are: Kbd MM Abdur Rab of SARK Bangladesh, MA Momin Mazumder of Bayer CropScience Limited, Ruman Hafiz of Shetu Corporation Limited and Kbd Md Abdul Hannan of Eminence Chemical Industries Limited. The newly elected office-bearers have pledged to resolve the outstanding issues of the organisation and carry forward the goal for protecting the crops to ensure higher production in agriculture and better health of the people. Vice President of McDonald (Bangladesh) Pvt. Limited Siraj A Chowdhury acted as chairman of the Election Board.
