BCSIR gets new chairman

Dr. Md Aftab Ali Sheikh of Chemistry Department from the Dhaka University joined Bangladesh Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (BCSIR) as its chairman on Wednesday.
He placed a wreath at the monument of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi-32 in the city marking his first day at the BCSIR, says a statement.
Among others, Member (Finance), Member (Science & Technology), Director (IFST), PRO and senior scientists were also present.
