BCSIR holds workshop on safe food research

The Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industry Research (BCSIR) organised a stakeholder workshop on 'The role of Safe Food Research in building smart Bangladesh' in the capital on Monday.
BCSIR Chairman Prof Dr Md Aftab Ali Shaikh was present as the chief guest while its Members Md Delwar Hossain (administration), Kazi Anwar Hossain (development) and Shah Abdul Tariq (finance) were present as special guests.
Dr Aftab Ali Shaikh said, "The Scientists & Researchers of Institute of Food Science Technology (IFST) should conduct the highest beneficial research for mass people to create safe food chain with the collaboration of university teachers."
Dr. Md Abdus Sattar Mia, Director in Charge of IFST, presided over the workshop. More than 300 participants, including researchers, university teachers and representatives from local and multinational companies participated in the workshop.
