The second and last four-day match between Bangladesh A team and visiting Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) also ended in a draw at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka Saturday, reports UNB.
Resuming the fourth day Saturday with overnight 18 for no loss in 7 overs, Bangladesh A declared their second innings at 170 for 9 after 65.5 overs, setting a 229-run target for Maharashtra CA to win the match.
Nightwatch opener Nafees Iqbal contributed 50 runs off 96 balls with four fours and a six, while middle order Sohrawardy Shuvo made 43 off 104 balls with five fours.
Another nightwatch opener Imrul Kayes scored 24 runs, while number five batsman Rajin Saleh made 19 and one down Arman Ahmed 10 runs.
Kiran Yadav grabbed six wickets for 66 runs, while Ganesh Gaekwad claimed three wickets for 44 runs.
In reply, visiting Maharashtra CA in their second innings scored 103 runs for seven wickets in 42 overs with opener Harshad Khadiwale contributing 37 runs off 38 balls that featured five fours and a six.
One down Sangram Attitkar scored 26 runs off 70 balls with two fours while Rohit Motwani added not out 11 off 57 balls.
Sohrawardy Shuvo and Enamul Huq captured three wickets each for 29 and 39 runs respectively, while Dollar Mahmud took one wicket for 23 runs.
Earlier, the visitors in their first innings scored 299 for all in 116.2 overs, in reply to Bangladesh A team's first innings total of 357 runs for all in 134 overs. The first four-day match between the two sides also ended in a draw at the Shaheed Chandu Stadium in Bogra.
