BD-Australia trade stands at A$1b

Trade between Bangladesh and Australia has witnessed a significant growth in recent years that has stood at over A$1 billion. A decade ago, trade between the two countries had been at around A$160 million, with the balance of trade heavily in Australia’s favour. The trade volume is now valued at over A$1 billion,  including A$450 million in exports from Bangladesh to Australia, according to Australian High Commission in Dhaka, said a news agency.
