BD-Austria ties to be strengthened further

Austria has hoped that its relationship with Bangladesh will strengthen in the days to come. Austria’s President Dr Heinz Fischer said both Dhaka and Vienna will work together for further bolstering the ties. Fischer said this when first resident Ambassador of Bangladesh Mohammed Abu Zafar presented his credentials to the Federal President of Austria at a ceremony in Vienna. Welcoming and congratulating the Bangladesh envoy, President Fischer conveyed his warmest greetings to his Bangladesh counterpart. He expressed great happiness at the existing bilateral ties between the two countries. He also expressed his happiness at the opening of Bangladesh’s resident mission in Vienna. During the meeting, they expressed their optimism for the further growth of bilateral trade, according to a news agency.
