BD discourages Nepal visits for tourism purpose

The government has discouraged Bangladeshi nationals to undertake any visit to Nepal for the tourism purposes until the situation returns to normalcy there. "Following the recent devastating earthquake in Nepal, the government of Bangladesh would like to discourage Bangladesh nationals to undertake any visit to Nepal on tourism purposes," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday. Over 4,000 people were killed and more than 6,500 injured in a massive earthquake that hit Nepal on Saturday. — UNB
