BD earn three more gold medals

Bangladesh earned three more gold medals in athletics, badminton and table tennis events of the Special Olympics Summer World Games'2015 held in Los Angeles, USA, Wednesday, reports UNB.
Bangladeshi athlete Sumon Khan clinched the gold medal in the men's 4-kg shot put event of the athletics.
Bangladeshi shuttler Rezwanul Haque won the gold medal in the men's singles event of Badminton while Bangladeshi paddler Mohammad Nayemur Rahman clinched men's singles gold medal in the table tennis competition.
Besides, Khushi Khatun took the silver medal in the women's 50-metre back stroke swimming and she also took the bronze medal in the women's 50-metre freestyle swimming Wednesday.
Another Bangladeshi athlete Bibi Fatema won the bronze medal in the women's 3-kg shot put event of athletics on the day.
Earlier on Monday, Bangladeshi swimmer Parul Akter brought laurel for the country winning the first gold medal in the women's 100-metre freestyle swimming. Mohammad Shahin of Bangladesh won the silver medal in the men's 25-metre backstroke while Arif Arman Rohan and Munni Akter took the bronze medals in the men's 50-metre breaststroke and women's 25-metre breaststroke, also on Monday.
