BD exports to Sweden doubled in 5 yrs: Tofail

Commerce Minister Tofail Ahmed on Thursday said Bangladesh’s export to Sweden had almost doubled over the last five years and hoped that it would grow further in the coming days following increasing demands. Bangladesh’s export to the Scandinavian country totalled US$ 421.74 million in fiscal 2013-14 as against US$ 233.48 million in fiscal 2009-10, he mentioned when Swedish Ambassador to Bangladesh Anneli Lindahl Kenny called on the Commerce Minister at his office, according to a news agency.
