BD flag hoisted in Philadelphia permanently

Bangladesh flag has been hoisted permanently at the historic Benjamin Parkway in the Philadelphia, USA. City Mayor of Philadelphia Michael Nater formally hoisted the flag on November 19 in presence of expatriate Bangladeshis, Press Minister at the Bangladesh Embassy in Washington Swapan Kumar Saha said Saturday. National anthem was playing while the city mayor was hoisting the flag. With hoisting of flag permanently in Philadelphia, he said, the long cherished demand of expatriate Bangladeshis living there was fulfilled.
