BD food festival ends in Colombo

An 11-day festival on authentic Bangladesh cuisine concluded in Colombo, Sri Lanka on Saturday. The first-ever such event was organised in association with Hotel Taj Samudra, Colombo and Hotel Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka. Bangladeshi cuisine dominated dishes served for lunch and dinner every day at ‘Latitude'. Sonargaon chefs put in their best efforts at the event to popularise delicious Bangalee dishes, particularly smoked hilsa, according to a news agency.
