BD-German talks review ongoing projects, future co-op

The bi-annual government-level consultations between Bangladesh and Germany were held in Dhaka recently and reviewed ongoing projects and programmes in the field of financial and technical cooperation as well as on future development cooperation. Wolfgang Hruschka, acting Head of South Asia; India Division, Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, led the German delegation in the consultations held on May 7-8, said a media release issued on Sunday. Abul Mansur M Faizullah, Additional Secretary of the Economic Relations Division (ERD), Ministry of Finance, presided over the meeting. The delegations had open and fruitful exchange of views on ongoing projects and programmes in the field of financial and technical cooperation as well as on future development cooperation. It was agreed to hold the next bilateral negotiations between Bangladesh and Germany in October or November in Dhaka, according to a news agency.
