BD gets full membership of CICA

Bangladesh has expressed its hope to promote trade and investment relations with the CICA member states and project the country using the full membership status. Bangladesh formally received the full membership of ‘Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA)’ on Tuesday. Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, who left Dhaka Monday night for China to attend the 4th summit of CICA, signed the accession document in Shanghai, said a Foreign Ministry media release, according to a news agency.
