BD gets world record recognition for singing national anthem

Guinness World Records authorities have officially certified Bangladesh’s record for singing national anthem simultaneously by the largest number of 254,537 people on March 26.
The record has also been officially posted on the Guinness World Records website (http://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/records-4000/most-people-singing-a-nationalregional-anthem-simultaneously/
The number of people singing a national anthem simultaneously was 254,537 and was achieved by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, Government of the Peoples’ Republic of Bangladesh (Bangladesh) at the National Parade Ground in Dhaka, on March 26, 2014, said the website.
Sponsored by the Cultural Affairs Ministry and supervised by the Armed Forces Division, shattered the Guinness World Records for singing a national anthem simultaneously using 254,537 people, according to a news agency.
