BD, India need to work together: Pankaj

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pankaj Saran on Friday said Bangladesh and India should work unitedly as they need to grow and prosper together as next door neighbours. “The relations between Bangladesh and India will continue to grow further in the coming days. We have to grow and prosper together… both countries need to work together,” he said. Pankaj was addressing the council of Bangladesh-India Friendship Society at Dhaka University’s Senate Bhaban. Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali and DU Vice Chancellor ASM Arefin Siddique, among others, spoke on the occasion, according to UNB.
