BD junior golf team leaves for England Friday

Bangladesh Junior Golf team will leave for England Friday to participate in the "2014 Junior Open Championship" on July 14-16 at the Fairhaven Golf Club in Lancashire, reports UNB.
The team comprises Afnan Mahmud Chowdhury and Sonia Akhter. They will compete in the Under-16 golf meet to be participate by leading golfers of some 80 countries.
Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Golf Federation Major General Mizanur Rahman Khan will also accompany the team as delegate.
The Bangladesh team will take part in the prestigious global junior meet at invitation of the highest body of the world golf-Royal & Ancient (R&A), St. Andrews, Scotland, UK.
Kurmitola Golf Club is sponsoring the team in the Junior Open Championship.
