Wednesday, 2 July 2014

The process of opening Bangladesh missions in Warsaw of Poland, Vienna of Austria and Copenhagen of Denmark is at the final stage, Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali told Parliament on Wednesday. “Hopefully, it’ll be possible to open the three missions by September next,” he said, replying to a scripted question of Pinu Khan, MP (Woman Seat-23). The minister also said that the issue of setting up three more Bangladesh missions in Kabul of Afghanistan, Khartoum of Sudan and Freetown of Sierra Leone got approval of the Public Administration Ministry and is now awaiting approval of the Finance Ministry, according to a news agency.
