BD makes footsteps in global skills

Bangladesh for the first time has made its footsteps in global skills with the participation of two contestants at Kazan WorldSkills Competition 2019.
As many as 1,354 competitors from 63 countries and regions are participating in the world.
The 45th four-day contest, where participants are contesting in 56 skills, was inaugurated at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre on August 23.
Besides, there are 3,500 volunteers, 200,000 visitors, 1,300 experts who have gathered at the Worldskills village in Kazan.
Two competitors from Bangladesh Tanjim Tabassum Islam and Nafisa Sadaf Achol are contesting in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, Russia.
Tanjim is contesting the global skills competition from confectionery and patisserie trade and Nafisa Sadaf Achol from fashion designing.
