BD missions abroad to be strengthened

The government has taken an initiative to strengthen Bangladesh missions abroad and their press wings for establishing better communication with the foreign countries to counter any negative campaign against Bangladesh. The Foreign Ministry and the Information Ministry will work in a coordinated way in this regard. “It’s just an effort to have a closer coordination (with all countries),” a senior official at the Foreign Ministry told UNB on Tuesday. A meeting in this regard was held at the Foreign Ministry with Foreign Secretary M Shahidul Haque in the chair on Tuesday, according to a news agency.
