BD national stabbed dead in Saudi Arabia

A Bangladeshi worker has been stabbed to death by an Egyptian national in Makkah city in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Azam, 37. Hailed from Mirsarai area of Chittagong district, Azam had been working in Saudi Arabia for about 10 years. Hospital and family sources said the Egyptian man engaged in an altercation with Azam over a trifling matter on Tuesday night on Dahla Road in Al Misfalah in Makkah. At one stage, the Egyptian national picked up a knife and stabbed Azam indiscriminately, leaving him critically injured. Azam was rushed to a hospital in the area where the doctor pronounced him dead, according to a news agency.
