BD records 100 new Covid cases, zero death

Bangladesh recorded 100 new Covid cases with no death in the last 24 hours till Saturday morning.
With the latest figures, the total number of coronavirus infections rose to 2009797 while the death toll remained unchanged to 29315, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the daily caseload, Dhaka district including the metropolitan area recorded highest number of the confirmed cases of 73.
The infection rate was 4.42 per cent as the daily caseload came from medical screening of 2265 samples from 880 labs across the country. The positivity rate was higher from Friday's 3.32 per cent.
During the same period, a total of 257 people recovered from the viral disease, taking the total tally of recovery to 1953368.
